Financial assistance is available to those whom the First Stop of Park County Help Center refers. Park County CSBG previously provided this assistance through YCAN as emergency assistance funds. These funds have now been transformed into short-term stability services. If you are experiencing financial hardship, don’t hesitate to contact the First Stop and take control of your future.

CSBG Funds for Park County
We understand that navigating assistance programs can be overwhelming. We must provide clear and concise information to help you determine if you qualify for the Park County CSBG assistance program.
Thanks to emergency assistance funds provided by Park County CSBG, you can now access short-term stability services and financial assistance for housing, health, dental, employment, and transportation through the First Stop.
First, you need to be a Park County, Wyoming resident.
In addition, your household income (before any deductions) should be between 0% and 125% of the federal poverty level. The government sets the income eligibility criteria for CSBG for this federal grant funding.
To apply for the program, you must bring First Stop documentation of all your household incomes in the past month. This is for everyone in your family who is 18 or older.
To get help paying for a service, you’ll need to give First Stop a document that shows how much money you owe. This document needs to have the name of the person who owes the money on it. If you need help paying rent, you’ll also need to give First Stop your landlord’s tax form called Form W9.
The information will be provided to YCAN, and their payment center in Cheyenne will make payments for approved applicants directly to the vendor.
There are program limits to the number of times you can apply for services and the dollar amount allowed.
